During a week of celebration at the las fallas festival, a flower offering takes place for the ‘Lady of the Forsaken’ which is made completely out of flowers. Thousands of people parade through the streets in their traditional costumes carrying magnificent flower bouquets. Singing and dancing also takes place on route to the effigy, the flower bearers are accompanied by standard bearers and marching bands, which make the atmosphere complete. This celebration takes place over two afternoons.
